Paul Boissinot, president of the FQAS (Quebec Underwater Federation), congratulates Darcy Kieran for his election, earlier this week, to the Board of Directors of DEMA.
DEMA (“Diving Equipment and Marketing Association”) is the international scuba diving trade association, headquartered in San Diego, California.
Darcy Kieran is a Canadian recreational scuba diving instructor trainer (PADI Course Director) and tech diving instructor trainer (TecDeep & TecTrimix) as well as a DAN Examiner and EFR Examiner. He owns Total Diving, a Montreal-based dive shop, and Beuchat Canada, the Canadian distributor of Beuchat scuba diving, freediving, snorkeling and spearfishing diving gear.
He’s the first Quebec representative to be elected to the board of this international trade association.
